"Eric Hardiman’s Tape Drift Records also blew me away this year, with great tapes like the Code: Suite 104 tape from Frank De Gallo (otherwise known as the man behind Hobo Cult) and an amazing split tape with Sparkling Wide Pressure and Rambutan. Other excellent releases included Jefferson Pitcher’s “To Light the Snow” and soundBarn’s “Valentine”–two different approaches to the guitar that entertain and stretch the possibilities of the instrument at the same time."
